In 2026, L.O.V.E. Is The Answer is inviting the world to turn love into action through music.
Be a L.O.V.E. Song is our official theme for the year, the title of our year-long global music promotion, and the name of our theme song. Rooted in the L.O.V.E. principles — Learn, Open, Volunteer, Empower — this movement uses music to inspire compassion, connection, and community healing around the world.

The Song That Unites Us
Our official theme song, “Be a L.O.V.E. Song,” released on February 14, 2026
Be a L.O.V.E. Song” is the official anthem for the L.O.V.E. Is The Answer Movement — the global movement teaching people how to love their neighbor. The photos in the music video represent the L.O.V.E. Is The Answer organization in action throughout the United States between 2014 and 2026 — the first 8 years of the global movement. Participate in L.O.V.E. Is The Answer’s 2026 “Be a L.O.V..E Song” Cover Contest. We’re accepting submissions to the contest between 4/1/26 and 7/31/26 — so get your musical group together and get ready! Look for complete rules for licensing the song and participating in the contest on this page on our website beginning 3/1/26.
ATTENTION SCHOOL MUSIC TEACHERS: We encourage you to make our song cover contest a class project where groups of students can earn extra credit for making their own version of the song and promoting it in your community to spread love. We would love to see their photos and videos of making a cover of the song, along with testimonials of what students and others learn in the process of make the cover song together.
