ALOHA WALKS

L.O.V.E. Is The Answer Founder and TV Series Host A.J. Ali will be participating in 50 signature Aloha Walks — 50 Walks in 50 States in 50 weeks with police chiefs, sheriffs, and their community members from August 19, 2025 to the beginning of August, 2026.

A Community Coming Together

L.O.V.E. Is The Answer recently created a new program called “Aloha Walks” to get police and other members of the community interacting together in deep, meaningful, and healthy ways.

A community meal sponsored by a local restaurant and a showing of either the L.O.V.E. Is The Answer TV show or the WALKING WHILE BLACK: L.O.V.E. Is The Answer film will accompany each of those signature walks.

“Aloha Walks” feature people “Walking While Black & White & Brown” together in unity — police walking with other people from the community — getting exercise, discussing mutual interests, having solutions-oriented conversations about difficult subjects, enjoying nature, building real relationships, and dreaming up ways to work together to make their community better.

The Path to L.O.V.E.

Aloha Walks are the embodiment of L.O.V.E. in action — healthy and beneficial activities that promote:

L.O.V.E. Is The Answer’s national partners, NOBLE and NAAAHR, along with other organizations such as the NAACP, HBCU’s, and member organizations of the Divine Nine are being asked to lead the way in organizing these weekly “Aloha Walks” simply by agreeing on a weekly day, time, and place that works in their area and promoting the walks to their members and providing light refreshments for participants.

We Would Love for You to Join

All are Welcome!

It’s that simple! Aloha Walks will be led by majority Black organizations, but people from every walk of life are invited to go “Walking While Black & White & Brown together to create more humanity and unity in their town!”

Why are these walks being led by historically/majority Black organizations? We’re shifting a narrative. We’re turning a term, “Walking While Black,” historically used to describe division between police and members of the Black community (as seen in our award-winning film, “WALKING WHILE BLACK: L.O.V.E. Is The Answer), into something tremendously positive by literally getting police and others to Walk While Black & White & Brown together — and we’re inviting the entire community to benefit from the blessing of our diversity.
