For our youngest learners, Kona the L.O.V.E. Dog introduces these values in an engaging and relatable way. Through Kona Clubs, students in elementary, middle, and high schools learn how to love their neighbors by practicing empathy and social responsibility. These teacher, coach, or parent-sponsored, student-led clubs empower participants to make a meaningful impact within their schools and communities. Students who participate in their school’s Kona Club will learn emotional intelligence, empathy, and social responsibility and receive rewards for putting those skills into practice.

For high schools, community colleges, colleges, and universities, our award-winning documentary, WALKING WHILE BLACK: L.O.V.E. Is The Answer, serves as a catalyst for courageous conversations and healing. Schools can license the film to inspire dialogue and connection among students and staff. Additionally, the Young Leaders L.O.V.E. Collab workshop provides an innovative, hands-on approach to tackling community challenges. This “charrette-style” workshop program brings together stakeholders to collaborate on solutions to issues such as bullying, school safety, and community divides, fostering leadership and actionable outcomes. The beauty of the Young Leaders L.O.V.E. Collab is that teens and young adults are no longer told to wait their turn—they are placed into leadership roles, and adults participating in the workshop are asked to support the efforts of their young leaders. This is a complete shift that empowers young people to tap into their brilliance and put their creative energy and passion to work to realize real changes in their community, fully supported by the time, talent, and treasure of adult community leaders.
