DISCOVER YOUR INNER
SUPERHERO WORKSHOP

A Transformational Experience of The L.O.V.E. Ohana Initiative™

Across America, people are hurting.

Military service members, veterans, first responders, healthcare heroes, educators, ministry leaders, business leaders, caregivers, social workers, and family members are carrying enormous emotional weight. Many are burned out, isolated, overwhelmed, disconnected from purpose, or quietly struggling while still showing up every day for others.

The Discover Your Inner Superhero Workshop was created to help people reconnect with who they are, what they have survived, why they still matter, and how their story can become part of their strength.

This powerful 2-day experience is part of The L.O.V.E. Ohana Initiative™, a movement rooted in aloha, healing, service, emotional resilience, purpose, and the belief that every person has a hero within them.

Aloha Is Not Weakness. Aloha Is Strength.

The workshop is inspired by Hawaiian principles of living, including:

Aloha
love, compassion, presence, and respect
Ohana
family, belonging, and community
Mālama
caring for people, places, and relationships
Kuleana
responsibility, purpose, and service
Ho‘oponopono
healing, forgiveness, and making things right

Founder A.J. Ali, a disabled U.S. Air Force veteran living with PTSD, credits aloha-centered living with helping him navigate some of the darkest moments of his life. That journey led to the creation of his superhero character, AlohaMan™.

AlohaMan™ represents compassionate strength, emotional courage, resilience, service, and humanity-centered leadership.

Through this workshop, participants are invited to discover and create their own superhero character as part of The L.O.V.E. Ohana™, a group of everyday heroes committed to putting L.O.V.E. into action.

The L.O.V.E. Principles as Superpowers

At the heart of the workshop are the four L.O.V.E. Principles:

LEARN

Learning about people, their stories, their needs,
and their humanity before judging or reacting.

OPEN Your Heart

Opening your heart to the needs of others
with compassion, courage, and respect.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteering to be part of the solution in people’s lives during both good and challenging times.

EMPOWER

Empowering others to do the same, creating a
ripple effect of healing, service, and hope.

In this workshop, each principle becomes a practical resilience and leadership superpower.

Learning about people, their stories, their needs,
and their humanity before judging or reacting.

Signature Experiences

The Kintsugi Experience: The Beauty of the Scar

Participants take part in a powerful symbolic healing experience based on Kintsugi, the art of repairing broken pottery with gold.

They reflect on emotional wounds, intentionally break pottery, repair the pieces with gold, and discuss resilience, survival, healing, and meaning.

The core message is:

Your scars are not proof that you are broken. They are proof that you survived.

This experience helps participants see their wounds differently. Not as shame. Not as failure. Not as weakness. But as part of a larger story of survival, growth, and purpose
